Nothing else to add at the moment except that it's quite enjoyable after three chapters, with fell wizards and foul plagues and Conan in a fine demonstration of jaw-dropping strength.
I will write a full review later this month.
This is the second of two short novels packaged together as Conan: City of the Dead, released in a single volume by Titan Books in 2024.

I've had this on the shelf for a while and am looking forward to reading it myself soon, especially since it includes Conan and the Emerald Lotus, which has been long out of print and very expensive (I'm glad I waited!). The last book in the Titan series that I read was S.M. Stirling's Blood of the Serpent. Knowing that he's written some good alternate history science fiction, I was nevertheless somewhat disappointed with his take on Conan and it really didn't blow my pteruges up. He lost me when Conan used "neatsfoot oil" to dress his sword blade.
I hope you don't mind me adding that I'm excited to share the news that I have published my first S&S story, "Raxton in the Temple of Shadows", in the May issue of Savage Realms Monthly.
Happy Cimmerian September, by Crom!
