Men of Iron, Howard Pyle
Any Howard Pyle fans in the house? If so, or if you're looking for fun, old-school, historical fiction adventure, my review of Pyle's Men of Iron is now up on DMR Blog.
Along the same lines, if old-school historical fiction of the medieval variety is your jam, highly recommend 'Sir Nigel' and 'The White Company' by Arthur Conan Doyle.

I've heard many good things about The White Company and probably need to get busy reading that.

I've seen Pyle's novel at bookstores but haven't read it.
Loved that book when I was a kid in school. Glad to see Pyle getting some attention. He was an excellent illustrator.
